[P3] Site analysis // Phenomenon found at the site
The building in itself is just a concrete shell, standing back with the basic elements
of a structure. Stripped of any other materiality giving architectural character,
makes the natural phenomenon protrude more clearly.
The perpetual in the structure is giving an interesting light play inside. It creates spaces inbetween the spaces and are giving the spaces character and content. As a contrast, the temporary, for example planks in front of the windows, is also creating extraordinary light plays.
The line between the structure and the nature has been more blurred.
The nature has inhabited the structure and made its marks.
The phenomenon fascinates me and the structure and its conditions
can be seen as an investigation on how blurred out the line between can be.
Can nature take over the building completely and in the end
demolish the whole structure? Is it all about time and rapidity?
The sites characteristic is the continuity of lines and long views.
But has the building influenced the long lines in the context
or has the context influenced the long lines of the building?
Its interesting to investigate how this continuity appearance affect
humans. My intension with my transformation is to divide up
this perpetual as a contrast, focusing on phenomenons in the
building, making smaller spaces for humans to relate to.

[P3] Site analysis // Mapping of the existing // The interruption on the existing
As extruded from the pictures above, the context around the building has a continuity of lines. This is influenced by the building itself and its history. This means that the context consists of lines reflecting the building, as shown in the diagram above. My intension with my transformation is to divide up this perpetual.
[P3] Inspiration // Michael Sailstorfer // 3 ster mit ausblick
I was introduced to Michael Sailstorfer when visiting Boros. By looking more into his work I have been very fascinated by his thoughts, which this cabin is a good example on.
The cabin is destroyed by it self by the fire. It is all about time and rapidity.
